fantastic stay!
helpful staff anniversary upgrade needed things parking availability
the staff were helpful, and i even received an upgrade for my anniversary, it was so thoughtful. the room included everything i needed, and parking availability was a huge plus. i appreciated how friendly and polite the staff were throughout my visit.
the building looked a little aged, it could benefit from minor decor updates.

Good stay near the seafront
great location helpful staff excellent quality
The location impressed me. I found it very close to the seafront. The staff were helpful and very cute (they all smile!). Breakfast provided excellent quality with well-cooked options. I appreciate that the parking was included.
I noticed some scratched bedroom furniture. It looked slightly 'tired' but was still entirely functional. I hope they refresh it soon.

mixed feelings about this stay
I was woken up early by a staff member using their phone loudly right outside my door, it felt very unprofessional. later, another staff member knocked and immediately opened my door without waiting or announcing themselves. It felt as if my privacy wasn't valued at all.

The hotel is conveniently close to the Congress Theatre. The room included a comfortable bed and good ensuite bathroom. A lift provided easy access to all rooms. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were excellent.
The shower had inconsistent water temperature. It was a bit hit and miss.

excellent experience
perfect location friendly staff
the location was perfect for walks on the seafront. staff members were friendly. downstairs lounges are furnished with books and dvds to borrow. i appreciated the kind upgrade to a spacious room. it was quiet, which i valued greatly.
the heating was at maximum upon arrival, so the room became warm. it took a while to adjust the temperature, and i had to switch the radiator off all night. this reminded me of unnecessary power consumption.

really good service large bedrooms level access
The staff offered really good service and kindness from arrival. I found a wide choice of breakfast options. The hotel provides largely level access with large bedrooms. I appreciated the short walk to restaurants.
The building needs some attention, there were bits of plaster hanging off on the stairs, and it generally has a tired look with old fashioned decor.
